Introducing Visayas’ newest collegiate League of Legends competition
Welcome the biggest esports event in the central region, the Visayan School League. Mainly organized by a group of high school students in partnership with Garena, the VSL serves as the Visayan Conference of the Metro Manila-based LoL Collegiate League.
“We’re excited to partner up with Garena for this iteration of the league. We’re confident that with our resources combined, we can do great things.” says Justin Banusing, director of the VSL.
The league will see 28 teams battle it out for glory and bring honor to their schools. The VSL will hold an open registration for LoL Collegiate League Visayan Conference Qualifiers. The top 8 of last season’s LCL Visayan Conference and Acclaim Interschool ELeague are invited and have assured slots in the qualifiers. The top 2 of last season’s LCL Visayan Conference and Acclaim Interschool ELeague will automatically proceed to the main tournament, while the remaining 24 will go through qualifiers.
The teams are split into 8 groups and the winner from each group will fight once more for their slot in the main tournament.
