TNC eSports Cup Grand Finals Now On Its Second Season
eSport organization TNC will hold the grand finals of the second installment of TNC eSports Cup on July 8, 2017 in High Grounds Cafe at Scout Rallos, Quezon City, as four teams will compete on DOTA 2 with a prize pool of P50,000 (Champion: P30,000; Runner-up: P10,000; 3rd and 4th place: P5,000).
The participating teams are Team B (Pasig), Rare Earth (Quezon City), Steelwolves Freedom (Bacolod City), and Young Minds (Makati); they qualified after besting other teams in qualifying rounds held at various TNC cafes across the country.
Of the four teams, only Steelwolves Freedom is not based in Metro Manila. However, their travel to and from the event will be shouldered by TNC.
Sponsors for the event are ADATA, Palit-Philippines, and ViewPaker. They will also provide giveaways for the attendees.
The event will be casted through Twitch by womboxcombo.
After this season, TNC will consider adding more eSports titles in future tournaments.
