INA Secures Gold Medal Match Spot in Arena of Valor 2019 SEA Games, VIE and THA in Losers Bracket Finals
The Playoffs for Arena of Valor started earlier 4:00 PM, 8th of December in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the FilOil Flying VCentre in San Juan, Manila.
The Top 2 of Groups A and B, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, went head to head in the upper and lower brackets in best-of-three series.

In the upper bracket, Indonesia and Thailand had a back-and-forth series with a close 28-minute game in favor of the Indonesians to open up the Playoffs. Afterwards, the tides had a swing of momentum when Thailand won in just 12 minutes to tie up the series. In the end however, Indonesia took back the reigns of the series 2-1 and secured a Grand Finals spot for themselves with a 13-minute win.
In a similar fashion, Vietnam and Malaysia went on a back-and-forth in their best-of-three series with Vietnam coming out on top in the end. Vietnam will be facing Thailand in the lower bracket finals to contend for the last gold medal match spot in the Grand Finals.
The fight for gold continues tomorrow 9th of December starting 10:00 AM for the Hearthstone Grand Finals, followed by the Arena of Valor Grand Finals at 1:00 PM, and lastly the Dota 2 Grand Finals at 4:00 PM.
