Dota 2 Majors Return to SEA through ONE Esports
Southeast Asia will once again host a Dota 2 Major when it holds the Singapore Major in June next year.
The announcement was made a few days after the Global Esports Federation was launched in Singapore earlier this week. The major will reportedly have a prize pool of $1,000,000 and will be spearheaded by ONE Esports with the support of the Professional Gamers League.
With the Singapore Major scheduled for June next year, it will most likely be the last chance for many teams to qualify for the 10th edition of The International through the Dota Pro Circuit.
ONE Esports is currently holding a Dota 2 World Pro Invitational with 12 of the best teams in the world in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
