Going undefeated throughout DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020, North American Qualifier Gen.G Esports took home $100,000 USD after taking down FURIA Esports in the Grand Finals of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.

Despite topping their respective groups in the group stage, FURIA Esports had a better in-game record than Gen.G 32-9 compared to 32-27. Coming into the Finals however, Gen.G proved that they were the better team from the get go going 16-7 in Nuke. The last game was a bit closer however, with Gen.G and FURIA going 19-15 in Inferno.

Gen.G Esports’ 2-0 win in the DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 nets the team a seed to the DH Masters Jönköping this June.
