The last week of the regular season of the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines kicked off today as the teams scramble to make it to the playoffs. Coming into this final week of play, Bren Esports and ONIC PH stand atop, clinching Upper Bracket spots. Geek Fam PH and STI fail to crawl back into it, getting eliminated from contention. Season 5 debuting teams ULVL and BSB rack up enough wins to secure Lower Bracket spots. In the middle of the pack, Execration, Blacklist International, SGD Omega, and MPL S4 champions Sunsparks fight for seeding and bracket positions.

The MPL resumed two weeks ago after they announced that they would be postponing the tournament last March 18 due to the global health pandemic. Games and broadcast resumed online, amidst other esports leagues returning in that same format.

Am-Haze-ing: Blacklist International vs SGD Omega

Blacklist International had a lackluster performance after the break compared to their strong start in the season. Going 1-2, Blacklist had to make sure to win their next games to secure an Upper Bracket slot. Coming into the match, they were tied in game record and points with SGD Omega, who had the momentum with three 2-0 wins.
