Valorant To Release Worldwide on June 2
Riot Games will be releasing its character-based tactical shooter VALORANT globally for free on June 2, 2020.
Since its closed beta launched in April, VALORANT has gotten worldwide acclaim and has peaked at over 1.7 million viewers in the streaming platform Twitch on its opening day. The first-person shooter will be rolling out to North America, Europe, South Korea, Brazil, Oceania, Japan, and SEA starting June 2.
Riot has emphasized on competitive integrity in their first-person shooter with their anti-cheat technology, Vanguard. As VALORANT is released, Riot will continue to work on expanding their servers and improving their tools to intervene in disruptive behavior.
