LoL Esports Introduces Summoner’s Rift Arena Banners
League of Legends esports broadcasts will be introducing Summoner’s Rift Arena Banners starting summer split to build a “richer viewing experience”.
The Arena Banners will be displaying esports branding directly on the Rift, with sponsored and team logos to be seen by spectators. However, pros will continue to see the standard Summoner’s Rift during official matches to ensure competitive integrity.
In the announcement, the lolesports team expressed that the cosmetics will be one step of many to further integrate their partners to engage local and regional fan bases. Furthermore, LoL Esports will be continuing to release additional products that aim to “build the digital experience” for viewers.
