Talon Esports Snuffs Out Team Flash in PCS & VCS Mid-Season Showdown
Talon Esports becomes the Mid-Season Showdown 2020 champions after taking down Team Flash in a decisive 3-1, putting the up-and-coming league on the map after taking down Vietnam’s first seed.
Talon Esports started out strong with a hyper-aggressive composition fielding Nidalee, Renekton, and Pantheon. Through their early dominance, they were able to secure their late-game with Infernal Soul and closed out the game in under thirty-minutes.
In Game 2, Team Flash pulled out a Vietnamese pocket pick with Nguyễn Lê “YiJin” Hải Đăng’s Shyvana and pulled themselves to even out the series. However, Talon Esports continued aggression in Games 3 and 4 which proved to be Team Flash’s weakness. With jungler Kim “River” Dong-woo’s Rek’Sai and Elise, Talon was able to snowball their leads to win them the series.
