Top Esports and FunPlus Phoenix decisively advance to the Finals of the Mid-Season Cup 2020, turning the finals into a civil war between the Chinese overlords.
In the first series of the day, FunPlus Phoenix had a rough start against the Spring champions JD Gaming in the blind pick with Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok carrying from the jungle. However, FPX stood their ground to comeback in Game 2 and continue their winstreak to take the series win. As unexpected as it was, Gen.G’s loss means that Korea has once again failed to succeed internationally.
