Talon Esports Announces Multi-Year Partnership with Paris Saint-Germain
Multisports club Paris-Saint Germain announced a long-time partnership with PCS & Mid-Season Showdown champion Talon Esports.
The joint partnership means that the team will be competing as PSG Talon and will be playing under the “PSG” tag in PCS 2020 Summer. The multi-year partnership falls similarly to PSG’s partnership with LGD in Dota 2.
The F.C. used to compete in League of Legends under Paris Saint-Germain eSports in EU Challenger Series 2017. They failed to qualify for the now-named LEC after getting 3rd in the regular season.
PSG’s partnership with Talon Esports means that they are expanding their reach within Asia and the League of Legends scene. Together, PSG Talon will pursue commercial partnerships and create regionally tailored content for the Pacific Championship Series.
