League of Legends: Wild Rift returns on September 18 with its exclusive Closed Beta test for Android and iOS in the Philippines.

After a successful Alpha testing earlier in June, Wild Rift is moving on to its beta stage to continue testing the game for official release. Riot Games emphasized that they will be testing the game’s Gameplay and Systems, Infrastructure, Skins and Monetization, and iOS access for the beta phase.

The upcoming MOBA will be introducing six new champions to its roster for the beta roll-out including: Amumu, Dr. Mundo, Jarvan IV, Singed, Sona, and Varus.

Despite being a port of League of Legends, Wild Rift will be similar but not completely the same as its PC counterpart and is “optimized with mobile and console in mind”.  In the Beta, Riot will be allowing users to purchase in-game content to test out monetization in the app.
