Worlds 2020: Suning Upset JD Gaming to Reach Semis
In one of the tournament’s biggest upsets yet, Suning takes down JD Gaming 3-1 to qualify for the Worlds 2020 Semifinals.
In Game 1, it looked as if the series was going to go as expected with JDG winning a close game against Suning. However, Suning took everyone by surprise in the Worlds 2020 Quarterfinals after taking down JDG in one fell swoop.
From Games 2 to 4, Suning came alive and had their players stand out in back-to-back teamfights to win them the series. In particular, all eyes were on Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng as he dominated the series on his Jhin.
From 11th place in LPL 2020 Spring to now qualifying for the semis, Suning’s young roster has grown so much in the past year and are now true contenders for the Summoner’s Cup.
