Kunimitsu , the Traitorous Female Ninja

Changes, Changes everywhere

Tekken 7’s developers are also putting in some love for its current roster as every character received new moves. Unlike other fighting game updates, the Season 3 characters like the top tier beast Leroy and Muay Thai monster Fahkumram also received new moves. In most titles, the newest characters often get no new moves if they’ve been released prior to a major update.

Many of these added moves are new launcher routes, safer starters leading big moves, and even new Rage Drive routes for some characters. The latest update also received major buffs and nerfs in this season too.

Ranking and Netplay Improvements

Bandai Namco also improved the game’s ranking ladder and netplay system. The top rank is now Tekken God Omega. The new Tekken Prowess system provides a color-coded ranking to a player’s name which shows how well they play Tekken 7 so far.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco also allows players to check if their opponents are on a wired or wi-fi connection. Netplayers often note that wi-fi connections often cause lag and lead to matches with high or unstable ping. This improvement helps players to avoid losing to spotty connections instead of better skill.

The latest announcement also confirmed that a new character and stage will be released by early 2021. The developers left no clues for the next character in this trailer. The Tekken 7 Season 4 update is now live on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.
