Meet the Filipino Developers who Brought Night City to Life

It was a long time coming for CD Projekt Red but Cyberpunk 2077, inarguably the most anticipated game of the year, was finally released a few days ago. Developing a game of this caliber meant CD Projekt Red had to employ the aid of various game and design studios, three of which are from the Philippines.

The game development, animation, and publishing company’s Digital Art Team is responsible for the art you see in a number of the game’s promotional material. They have also previously worked on Gears of War 4 and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Blood and Wine.

Pixel Mafia

They also had a hand in Cyberpunk 2077’s E3 trailer from last year.

Secret6

The multinational game studio that spans San Franciso, Madrid, and the Philippines is known for its involvement in AAA titles such as the Uncharted series and The Last of Us 2. They were responsible for creating 3D and concept art for Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
