PH’s Bren Esports Heralded As M2 World Champions

After a heroic run from loser’s, BREN Esports are now the undisputed World Champions after taking down the Burmese Ghouls 4-3 in the Grand Finals of the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang’s M2.

BREN started M2 on the right footing as they ended the Group Stage 2-0 against 10s Gaming Frost and Alter Ego. But, their journey would take a downwards turn when they were sent to the Lower Bracket by Myanmar’s Burmese Ghouls after getting swept 2-0 in the playoffs.

The Filipino reps never faltered however, as they took down Todak and Alter Ego in close 2-1 victories. Then, they earned themselves the moniker “Indonesian Slayers” by taking down RRQ Hoshi in a decisive 3-1 in the Lower Bracket Finals.

Following their win, BREN had finally found their way back to the Grand Finals and earned themselves a rematch against the Burmese Ghouls. In the Grand Finals, the finalists went back-and-forth until the series was tied 3-3. The deciding game after saw the Burmese Ghouls get a slight edge in the early game after winning a skirmish near the jungle. But, that proved to be their last hurrah as BREN Esports decisively shut down their opposition to win the World Championship.
