Want to be a League of Legends Scholar? Dominate Your Region in the National Campus Open
AcadArena is bringing back the National Campus Open (NCO) with three esports titles, three regions, and three regional champions in an all-new tournament format this 2021. Seasons 2 and 3 of the NCO will be held during the first and second halves of the year, respectively.
“We’re shifting things around this year. For the past couple of years, we’ve seen that teams from different regions find it hard to grow in a country-wide tournament. In AcadArena, we’re all about growth—and we want to feature your story in campus esports,” said AcadArena in their NCO announcement post.

As a result of this, Season 2 of the NCO will be split into three major regions to highlight the unique stories of each region. With three different regional champions, AcadArena expects things to heat up even further as the year progresses.
Your path doesn’t end in regional domination. In Season 3 of the National Campus Open, we’re opening the gates to an even bigger tournament where the best of all the three regions will clash in an interregional tournament to determine which teams will carry the Philippine flag in international tournaments this year.
As of this posting, League of Legends is the only confirmed title for the NCO. Games from the Mobile FPS and Mobile MOBA genres are to be determined.
Each title will feature over PHP 100, 000 in prizes. In addition, the 8 teams from the 3 regions that make it to the regional stage in Season 2 will get an exclusive, limited-edition merchandise bundle from AcadArena.
