TI10 might be Topson’s last TI
Family-man and back-to-back The International winner Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen hinted that this could be his last TI campaign in an interview with Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat.
After his teammate Anathan “Ana” Pham announced his retirement from Dota 2 before the team’s journey to the Western Europe Regional Qualifiers, Topson now announced his possible retirement.
“It looks like this TI may be my last, although I can’t say for sure. Anyway, after the tournament, I will take a big break and focus on my family. At the same time, it will be possible to think about whether to pursue a player’s career or do something else.” Topson said.
It was September of 2020 when the OG star midlaner welcomed his first daughter with his wife Mawar Remy.
It's a girl, Mawar and I couldn't be happier and the birth went smooth. I love her so much already 🥰 pic.twitter.com/rKy7N5CTjH

Topson announced his interest and plans to become a Dota caster and analyst if he wishes to retire.
“I will probably try streaming again and I was thinking about participating in Dota tournaments as an analyst or something, even after I retire. I will probably stay with Dota even if I no longer play.” Topson said.
Would this be the last TI campaign for the game’s biggest Chad, and will it also spark retirement plans for his co-TI champion teammates Johann “N0tail” Sundstein and Sebastien “Ceb” Debs?
