Tier One Gives Employees Paid Mental Health Break

In a tweet by Icoy Rapadas, Tier One Entertainment is revealed to have given their employees a ‘paid no workday’ via a memo yesterday, August 3, 2021.

Rapadas, who is the Commercial Partnerships Manager for Tier One, revealed that the ‘paid no workday’ was given for the employees to prepare for Metro Manila’s incoming ECQ and to as well serve as a mental health break from work.

“[Tier One Entertainment] decided to give us a paid no workday this Friday to prepare for the ECQ as well as just a mental health break. Sobrang wow thanks?? huhuhu,” Rapadas tweeted.

He then proceeded to continue the thread by showing a screenshot of the said memo that was sent to all employees via email.

Netizens were then quick to commend Tier One Entertainment with countless “sana alls” and admiration towards the company.

Tier One Entertainment’s co-founder, Tryke Gutierrez, responded in a series of quote tweets stating he understands the challenges his employees face and is empathetic.

“Take care of your people and they will take care of what you’ve built,” Tryke tweeted. “The mental challenges that come with the pandemic are as real as the problem of Covid19,” he added in another tweet.
