It’s the end of an era for the squad that was heralded as the face of Filipino Dota—TNC Predator is saying goodbye to its all-Filipino roster.

The squad comprised of Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios, Jun “Bok” Kanehara, Timothy “Tims” Randrup, and Marvin “Boomy” Rushton will officially be free agents on September 15.

“TNC has broken several barriers and overcome many obstacles during this period, and we are grateful to have had such talented players spearheading the growth of Philippine esports on a global scale,” the organization announced on Facebook.

TNC narrowly missed out on a spot to The International 10 after losing to rivals Fnatic in the SEA Qualifier Grand Final. It was the first time the team failed to qualify for Dota’s most coveted event since making their debut in TI6.

“The organization and its players have discussed in terms of individual growth and have come to an agreement that this would be the best decision moving forward,” they added. An exclusive interview with the players will be held on September 14 5 PM on the official TNC Pro Team – Dota 2 Facebook page.
