Oheb Flips the Bird on Live Broadcast, Stirs Netizen’s Reactions
Blacklist International’s Kiel “Oheb” Soriano flips the bird on MPL PH’s live broadcast after defeating Smart Omega 2-0.
Oheb’s middle finger incident spread like wildfire just minutes after it happened. Fans speculated that Oheb’s reasoning for his immoral action was to get back on Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas, as the Smart Omega player had said homophobic remarks in the past against Blacklist’s V33Wise duo.
The Oheb fiasco stirred a variety of netizen reactions from MLBB personalities and fans. Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso memed on the whole situation by posting an edited screenshot of Oheb with the caption: “Oppa lang naman yun e.”
Several MPL casters also shared some witty rhetorics on their respective socials.
Pinakita lang ni Oheb yung pinanglalaro nyang daliri 🤣

On the other hand, other people had a more serious undertone with their reactions.
In all seriousness, it's a big problem for the league. GAB is no joke. It happened in an official broadcast.
Let's try to control ourselves next time. It's funny since it's not racial or homophobic, but know that pro players have moral responsibilities as influencers.

Blacklist International later released an apology via a TwitLonger. They also revealed that Oheb will be receiving a salary deduction as punishment and has ‘acknowledged his behavior and immediately apologized to the rest of the team and the management’. Oheb also apologized in the post-match interview and stated that he will accept whatever sanctions MPL will give.
Meanwhile, MPL PH has decided to suspend Oheb for two games starting on October 9 and issued a penalty of USD $500.
