Day 1 and 2 of Valorant APAC LCQ Plagued by Production Issues
Day 1 and 2 of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) was plagued by production issues.
Faced with the gargantuan task of facilitating a tournament featuring multiple regions (Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, and South Asia), the live broadcast of the VCT APAC LCQ was unfortunately pestered with production issues.
From delayed matches, observer lapses, missing audios, and more, reactions from the viewers have been varied.
Some had been hilarious.

I didn’t expect things to get worse and really wished for the best, but somehow it’s still happening.

Some showed their frustrations.
Can someone please save #VALORANTLCQ APAC? Muted casters, loud bgm, muted ingame sounds, missing kill cams and so on… 🥲

While others have been more critical with their feedback.
Honestly, I’m not surprised with how much of a mess today has been with the lack of communication + we couldn’t even get a proper rehearsal on the PH side while waiting on the main stream…
Hoping for a better LCQ tomorrow because the talents are going above and beyond to carry.

also please, organizers – whoever you are:
OBSERVERS ARE ARGUABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF A BROADCAST.
the sooner we realize this the better.
please.
