THESPIKE.GG transitions anew after former CEO Artur “m1nac” Minacov’s fiasco forced him to step down from the company.

As reported by several news sites, M1nac’s allegations range from $40,000 worth of withheld payments to former staff, racist and homophobic statements, drug use, and more.

These allegations came to light after two former employees, Shawn “Germanicus” Heerema and Mostafa Hossam, publicly gave details about the alleged lack of payment and poor working conditions they endured in the company.

On May 15, 2021, M1nac publicly announced via Twitter that he will be selling his shares in THESPIKE.GG and will “no longer be involved in gaming/Esports” and “will make sure the money due is paid shortly.” He also released a more detailed response on his website.

The transition culminated yesterday when THESPIKE.GG finally closed a transfer of ownership which included the payment of their staff and M1nac’s complete step down from the company.

THESPIKE.GG is a Valorant-centric website that brings news & articles, forum, clips & videos, rankings, player data, team data, events coverage, and analysis.
