Three Philippine teams to gun for CODM Garena Invitational 2022 title
Three Filipino teams have qualified and are set to compete in the CODM Garena Invitational 2022 playoffs.
M420 LowKings, Blacklist International Ultimate, and Ultimate Divinus have all advanced into the tournament’s playoffs after surviving their opponents in their respective divisions.

Reigning Garena Masters champion and CODM Eastern World champion Blacklist International Ultimate probably had the easiest path out of the three as the team qualified straight into the playoffs for their distinction as the Garena Masters champion. They are seeded in the upper bracket alongside ALMGHTY of Singapore and DG Esports of Indonesia.
Rising star team M420 LowKings continue their impressive run over the past few months, banking on their 3rd place finish in the Garena Masters and using the experience to finish top 2 in Group B alongside juggernaut ALMGHTY. M420 notably defeated 3-time Indonesian Champions Galaxio Cepheus and Thailand Championship runner-up WDC Xenon. They are seeded in the lower bracket against rivals SEM9 of Malaysia, with the winner set to take on Blacklist and the loser falling into the second lower bracket.

On the other hand, Ultimate Divinus, the lone girls’ team out of the three, finished the group stages on top of the girls’ division. They finished with a 5-0 record after defeating teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Ultimate Divinus will come into the playoffs as the number 1 seed and will face the number 4 seed in Singapore’s Velvet.
The CODM Garena Invitational 2022 playoffs will be played in a best-of-five series, double-elimination format in the pros’ division, while the girls’ division features only a single-elimination format. The annual regional meet’s playoffs which has a prize pool of 50,000 USD (approximately 2.5 million PHP) will take place on April 1-3.
