Game 1 on Ascent showcased both teams’ defensive prowess as they built different types of fortresses on the defensive side. The North American team’s approach was more into reading out their opponents while LOUD prioritized absolute map control. However, Optic ultimately stopped a comeback win from LOUD by ending the game 13-9 in their favor.

Meanwhile, Game 2 on Bind had a different showcase of strategic approaches when it came to agent compositions. Optic opted for a more traditional setup with a Raze, one sentinel with Chamber, two controllers in Brimstone and Viper, and a Skye. On the other hand, LOUD ran a peculiar setup with two controllers in Astra and Viper, two initiators in Sova and Skye, and a Raze. Despite the info-gathering capabilities of LOUD’s composition, they were unable to see the victory flag as Optic won the game 14-12 in overtime.

The grand final series culminated in a Game 3 victory by Optic on Breeze. LOUD made the mistake of picking the map as they thought Optic would falter just like earlier in the tournament. However, Optic surprised everyone as they went the distance, with the game going to two overtimes and ending with a score of 15-13.
By winning the first Masters of the year, Optic Gaming took home USD $200,000, 750 circuit points, and the title of the current best team in the world. Meanwhile, LOUD took home USD $120,000 and 500 circuit points, third-placer ZETA Division with USD $85,000 and 400 circuit points, and fourth-placer Paper Rex with USD $65,000 and 300 circuit points.
