CODM Battle Royale field dominated by Filipinos again
No matter what mode Filipinos play in Call of Duty Mobile, they seem to be very good at it. Over the past 3 months, Philippine teams Blacklist Ultimate and Smart Omega have won Garena Masters 1 and 2, respectively.
Now the action shifts into the game’s battle royale mode, in the rocky mountains of Isolated and exquisite sceneries of Blackout. Philippine teams have wreaked havoc again, in a Battle Royale this time, and for good measure.
15 Filipino teams have qualified for the first-ever Garena Survivors finals after the second bracket’s games ended last night, June 8, 2022.
Joining the 7-team pool of Philippine teams from the first bracket are powerhouses Vagabonds Nomads, Vagabonds Esports, and NRX 4:20. The three teams dominated the bracket, scoring 314, 284, and 241 points, respectively to finish 1st,2nd, and 3rd in the overall rankings.
AMT Prime, HE Phoenix, SDPH Generals, EZR Magna, and Royal Kings — all Filipino teams as well — secured the 4-8 spots.
The eight teams will join 4 Kings, Amethaverse Esports, XIII Academy, and teams from VVV Esports in the Filipino-laden grand finals.
