The Philippines’ Oasis Gaming gets swept 2-0 by Oceania’s ORDER in the VALORANT Challengers Tour 2022 APAC Stage 2’s Group C opener.

The first game of the series started out badly for the Filipino representatives. Almost instantaneously, Oasis got aced by ORDER’s Michael “WRONSKI” Wronski in the first round. This is not the last of the rounds where they got aced as Cameron “disk0” Mac soon gunned down everyone on Oasis in Round 10. Those two players proved to be the bane against Oasis which made it hard for the team to operate normally. As such, Game 1 went to the Oceania representatives 13-7.

FEATURED STORIES

Sadly, things did not get better for Oasis on Ascent. They tried to mix things around as they put Mark Anthony “Marky” Tuling on Raze and subbed in Mark Louis “Ripper” Laguardia to play Killjoy instead of his usual smoker agents. Unfortunately, Oasis wasn’t able to penetrate ORDER’s defense as it became WRONSKI and Elvin “Maple” Sun’s turn to decimate them. Rounds 8 and 9 would be the only rounds that went in favor of Oasis throughout the whole game.

With this loss, Oasis drops to the lower bracket of Group C and will have to survive the Elimination and Decider matches if they want to qualify for the VCT APAC Stage 2 Playoffs.
