CODM Garena Masters III Day 1 Recap: Top Seeds Advance To Semis
Manila, Philippines—The seeded teams from the group stages will be the first to move through the next upper bracket round in the ongoing Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Masters Season III playoffs.
The Philippines’ Blacklist Ultimate, WPM LowKings, and Smart Omega, along with Singapore’s ALMGHTY advance to the upper bracket semifinals after dispatching their respective opponents on Day 1 of the playoffs.
The upper bracket results are as follows:
- (PH) Blacklist Ultimate 3 – (MY) Huntsmen 0
- (PH) WPM LowKings 3 – (PH) VVV Esports 1
- (PH) Smart Omega 3 – (PH) C8 Legacy 1
- (SG) ALMGHTY 3 – (PH) RTL Esports 0

By virtue of their recent wins, the top teams of the tournament will now duke it out with WPM LowKings facing Smart Omega in the first semifinals matchup while Blacklist Ultimate is set to take on ALMGHTY.
As for the losing teams, the fight is not over as they will be dropping down into the lower brackets. VVV Esports will take on C8 Legacy and RTL Esports will go head to head with the Huntsmen in win-or-go-home matchups.
CODM Garena Masters III is the first major CODM LAN event in the country since the pandemic started. Admission to the event is free, and fans who want to come and watch the festivities will be accommodated until seats last.
