Talon Esports Cuts PatMen, Gnaru, and Drei From VALORANT Roster
Just a week after the franchising news, Talon Esports released three of their Filipino players in their VALORANT roster.

The three players Talon cut were Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, Aaron “gnaru” Bonaobra, and Andrei “Drei” Butulan. Gnaru and Drei were part of the original roster Talon formed earlier this year. Meanwhile, PatMen came into the team after the departure of South Korean pro Alex and Gabrielle “GabbyDiz” Dizon.

Before their release, speculations on Talon releasing their roster hounded the team as the organization was rumored to return to its Thai roots for the upcoming regional league.
Talon’s original roster, composed of Filipino and South Korean players, had a less-than-stellar debut in the VCT scene. The team failed to make it into the group stages of VCT Stage 2 Philippines as they repeatedly fell to established teams in the open qualifiers.
With the three players gone, Talon is left with the following on its roster:
- Mark “markL” Lester
- Go “UdoTan” Kyung-won (고경원)
- In “Creative” Moo-keun (인무근) (Coach)
