Smart Omega hailed first-ever champions of The Nationals’ CODM Philippine Open

Smart Omega moves one step forward in their preparations for the CODM World Championship 2022 by winning The Nationals’ CODM Philippine Open playoffs last Saturday, October 8.

They first beat a feisty Cignal Ultra Warriors team in a hard-fought five-game thriller, 3-2 in the upper bracket matchup. Smart Omega then took care of BREN EPro in the grand finals with ease, sweeping them 4-0 to win the title.
The boys in green, white and black get the bragging rights of being the inaugural champions of the tournament as well as bagging the top prize of 400,000 PHP themselves.

What’s next for Smart Omega remains to be seen as they ramp up their preparations and maintain their buildup for the CODM World Championship 2022 slated on December 15-18 later this year.
