UST Teletigers Looks To Defend Their Crown In AllG Split 2 MLBB
With the Group Stage set to start tomorrow, October 29, 2022, the UST Teletigers looks to defend their crown in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) at the AcadArena Alliance Games Split 2.
After the play-ins, a total of sixteen teams will be split into four groups, with each group featuring a seeded playoff team from the last season.
In Group A, the Teletigers (University of Santo Tomas) will go up against Panthera Esports Draco (System Plus College Foundation), Emperor Eagles (PSAU), and Vainglorious (Tarlac State University).
In the next group, Group B has last season’s runners-up the UB Brahmans (University of Batangas) pitted against Zephyrus (TIP-Quezon), Gearhawks (TUP-Manila), and XU Cwusadews (Xavier University).
Over in Group C, familiar names such as LG Helios (Ateneo De Manila University) and Pylon FEWA (PUP-Manila) will go against the newcomers Overschooled (Philippine Christian University) and GG Gaming Kings (Gardener College Cainta).
Finally, Group D will have an all-out brawl featuring returnees Jaguar Esports (University of San Jose – Recoletos), Valiant Guardians (Holy Angel University), Viridis Arcus (De La Salle University), and the lone newcomer in this group, Wizards Circle Esports Club (National University Manila).
Missing this year in the group stage are FAITH Colleges Esports Club Bravehearts, USA’s SAGE Veritas, and the OLFU Pirates who were notably banned last split due to a ghosting scandal.
