A Player Just Reached 100,000 Legendary Raids in Pokémon GO
The journey to becoming a Pokémon master is never easy, and one Pokémon GO player just took it to a whole other level.
Quick note: 100K Battle Legend reached yesterday. The credit for this milestone goes to all the amazing hosts and raiders around the world with whom I am fortunate enough to raid. Thank you all! 😎 Better message, collage, etc. coming soon. 😛 Still gathering pics, thoughts, etc. pic.twitter.com/tXLUnZoAD0

Sharing her incredible feat on Twitter, MissSassyOne, a Pokémon GO Tier 5 raider, just reached a jaw-dropping 100,000 Legendary Raids in Pokémon GO. She was able to hit the 100K mark just after reaching 50K in April and 75K back in August of this year.
“The credit for this milestone goes to all the amazing hosts and raiders around the world with whom I am fortunate enough to raid,” MissSassyOne expressed her gratitude towards all the help she got through the achievement.
If you haven’t opened your Pokémon GO app in awhile, Tier 5 Legendary Raid battles were added back in 2017 with Lugia’s debut in a Pokémon Go Fest. Soon after, Battle Legend Medals were added, which basically achievements that keep track of how many legendary raid battles you’ve successfully done. Here’s how to get each medal:
- Bronze: Win ten Legendary Raids
- Silver: Win 100 Legendary Raids
- Gold: Win 1,000 Legendary Raids
- Platinum: Win 2,000 Legendary Raids
Players are granted one raid pass per day (which you can use on any raid battles, legendary or not), and it would usually take several years (and real money for Premium Battle Passes or Remote Raid Passes) to reach Platinum — which makes MissSassyOne’s 100K feat all the more impressive.
