Blacklist International Secures M4 Upper Bracket Spot Despite Falling To Falcon Twice
Blacklist International secured an upper bracket spot at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship despite falling to Falcon twice in the group stage.

The day started well for Blacklist as they managed to dominate against Burn X Flash for their first matchup of the day. They pretty much controlled the tune of the game as they simply outmaneuvered and outplayed the Cambodian representatives, ending the game 15-1 in their favor. Kiel “Oheb” Soriano was proclaimed the MVP of the game with a flawless record of 7/0/3 KDA, with the rest of the team also deathless save for Jonmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna who only managed to die once.
Falcon Esports is the better team tonight. The Myanmar representatives take the win once again.

Unfortunately, Blacklist’s M4 win streak would stop at the hands of Falcon, falling to the Burmese tournament favorites twice on the same day.
During their first match, Blacklist faltered to Falcon as they failed to create a comeback for themselves. It all started with an early mistake during the first Turtle clash as Blacklist overcommitted and got punished for it, losing the main objective along with three members in the process. From there, Falcon snowballed and Blacklist was simply forced to defend for the rest of the match, eventually the game ending 3-16 in favor of Falcon.
Their loss against Falcon eventually led to a three-way, best-of-one round-robin tiebreaker featuring Blacklist, Falcon, and Incendio Supremacy. Sadly, Blacklist would suffer yet another defeat at the hands of Falcon in their tiebreaker match, this time losing in a 10-22 fashion.
It's now set, we take one of the top spots in the Group Stage 🙌

Thankfully, Blacklist managed to secure the second spot in their group by besting Incendio Supremacy yet again, this time scoring 19-16 in the tiebreaker matchup. Oheb would once again claim the MVP accolade as he went for an 8/2/6 KDA with his Wanwan.
With an upper bracket spot secured, Blacklist International would be facing whoever gets the top spot in Group D for the knockout stages on January 8, 2023.
