The SIBOL 2023 representatives won both of their matches this past weekend, going 2-0 against Nexplay Evos on Day 1 and TNC on Day 3, respectively. With six games won and two losses, and a match record of 3-1, Bren’s winning streak last weekend puts them at the top with nine points.

“I would say the entire team is really satisfied with their performance with their games,” Bren’s coach Francis “Ducky” Glindro commented on the team’s 3-match win streak which came after their initial loss at the start of the season against ECHO. He then admitted that the team is still far from their ideal championship form and thus will ramp up their training structure to work on a lot of things.

Not far from them is ECHO who is currently the only team with a clean match record of 3-0. The Orcas only had one match this past weekend which went 2-1 in their favor against ONIC Philippines, losing only the second game of that series via a wipeout that resulted in an ONIC comeback.

FEATURED STORIES

Speaking of a team ECHO defeated, Blacklist International is currently tied alongside RSG Philippines, with both teams boasting 2-1 records for six points each.

Next in line is ONIC Philippines who, as mentioned earlier, lost against ECHO but followed it up with a 2-1 win against Nexplay Evos.

Speaking of Nexplay Evos, they are currently tied with Smart Omega — who swept RSG PH at the start of the second week but subsequently lost in the same fashion against Blacklist International — with four points each.

Finally, in last place, TNC has yet to even score a single game win against any of their matchups, the latest being 2-0 losses against RSG PH and Bren Esports, respectively.

The third week of MPL PH Season 11 will start on Friday, March 3, 2023, with Blacklist International and ONIC headlining the first match of that weekend.
