DLSU, USA top respective groups as ADMU sneaks to CONQuest in Alliance Games: CODM

De La Salle University’s (DLSU) Viridis Arcus and the University of San Agustin’s (USA) SAGE Ultimate have topped their respective groups while the Ateneo De Manila University’s (ADMU) LG Altair squeak into #CQ2023 in Day 2 of the Alliance Games’ CODM group stage last Sunday.

DLSU and USA lived up to their reputation as being last year’s finalists by finishing number 1 in Groups A and B respectively. Both teams managed to secure their top spot courtesy of wins against Mapua’s MGS Ares (2-0), New Era University’s PDG Odyssey (2-0), and ADMU’s LG Altair (2-0).

Meanwhile, Ateneo’s LG Altair qualified for CONQuest 2023 after sneaking past FIT Dasig, 2-1. LG Altair lost to FEU’s TFX Atlas and SAGE Ultimate earlier in the day 2-0, forcing a do-or-die matchup with FIT. The winner of the matchup goes to CONQuest for the Alliance Games’ playoffs and ADMU got it thanks to a clutch 2-1 win.

After yesterday’s results, the top 6 teams that will qualify for the playoffs in CODM are the following:

All 6 teams will play live at the CONQuest Festival on June 2-4 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay for a chance to be crowned the kings of collegiate CODM.
