Just like in the main series games, Master Balls in Pokémon GO can catch any Pokémon encounter without fail—may it be from natural spawns, Lure Modules, after Raid Battles, or while using the Daily Adventure Incense (those pesky legendary Galarian bird trio will finally be easier to catch with the Master Ball).
The arrival of the Master Ball in Pokémon GO will mark the end of the ongoing Season 10: Rising Heroes in-game event. It is set to be the end reward for the final story of the Season 10: Rising Heroes Special Research saga.
Meanwhile, the announcement also hints at the opportunity of earning more Master Balls in the future through similar events, which means you can have multiple chances to catch rare Pokémon with Master Balls.
Players will be able to claim the Master Ball after they finish the final Special Research task of Season 10: Rising Heroes—which is set to be available for everyone who logs into the game from May 22, 2023 (10:00 A.M. local time) up until June 1, 2023 (10:00 A.M. local time).
