Finally, FNATIC booked a playoff spot after they swept Bilibili Gaming in the winners’ matchup in Group C. FNATIC crushed the Chinese debutants in just two games in Haven (13-2) and Lotus (13-8).
With the fourth day’s conclusion, FNATIC joins DRX and Evil Geniuses as the first three teams to qualify for the playoffs via the upper bracket of their respective groups. Meanwhile, Paper Rex and EDG will be facing off at Group A’s winners’ match while KRÜ and Giants Gaming will have to fight each other tooth and nail to determine who gets to stay longer in the tournament.
