First to qualify was LOUD after they defeated Natus Vincere (NAVI) 2-1 in their decider match. Ending in triple 13-11s, NAVI took the first game on Pearl before LOUD succeeded in completing a reverse sweep by winning on Ascent and Bind.
After that series, FUT Esports qualified for the playoffs by sweeping T1 in their decider match. The series started on Bind as FUT Esports won the map by holding out from T1’s second-half onslaught and ending the game 13-10. As close as the first game was, FUT Esports won the next map on Pearl via overtime, closing the map 14-12 thus completing a clean sweep.
With LOUD and FUT Esports off to the playoffs, only four teams remain in the group stage: Group A’s EDward Gaming and Giants Gaming as well as Group C’s Bilibili Gaming and NRG.
