VALORANT teams up with Estudyante Esports for scholarships
VALORANT has partnered with a local tournament partner for a nationwide campus league, and scholarship grants await the competitive students.

Riot Game Philippines announced that they will lend support to Estudyante Esports (EE)’s nationwide campus league.
VALORANT will cover one full semester of tuition for the winning team. “Investing in the grassroots competitive gaming scene is one of the many initiatives we’re taking to discover, hone, and nurture the next generation of VALORANT talents,” says Jason Roberto, Brand Manager for VALORANT at Riot Games Philippines.

Apart from VALORANT, Estudyante Esports will feature three other titles: League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Tekken 8. The scholarship grant is exclusive to the VALORANT leg, however. The entire tournament will also have cash prizes up for grabs.

EE is a nationwide affair and involves schools from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The tournament is organized by Dark League Studios, sharing them with the recent UAAP Esports.
The Estudyante Esports Campus Tournament qualifiers for NCR begin this October, while Luzon gets their chance in November. Hopefuls from Visayas and Mindanao will commence in January next year, and the whole tournament will culminate in the final week of February 2025.
