Same mindset, better chemistry for reigning world champs Onic in MPL 15

Reigning Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world champions Onic Philippines are kicking off their MPL Season 15 campaign with their heads held high.
They opened the season in style, sweeping a gutsy TNC Pro Team before ending the week with a 1-2 loss against Aurora Gaming.
Head coach Tony “Ynot” Senedrin told Esports Inquirer that the team’s mindset remains the same despite the high from last year’s events—gifting Onic Philippines the championships they have been chasing since entering the league in Season 4.
Despite this, the “Super Family” is still set on bigger goals.
“Still the same, to be honest, andun pa rin yung gigil manalo kasi bago mag-start ang taon tinanong ko sila: ‘Okay na ba tayo sa last year sa Season 14, [sa] M6? Ang sabi nila sakin hindi pa. Hindi pa kami kontento and gusto namin na alam namin na kaya pa namin. Still the same. Chasing for another championship, kumbaga kinalimutan namin yung success ng paraan kasi tapos na rin yon eh,” Ynot shared.
When asked about the team’s chemistry after its milestones, Coach Ynot shared that it’s grown even stronger, adding that this extends beyond the players.
“Ay maganda, maganda talaga. It’s a daily thing, and I think yung bond ng players hindi na magbabago kasi hindi lang siya nageextend samin nageextend sa managers, sa coaches […] May relationship na we look out for each other we make sure na our dreams come true,” he said.
Onic Philippines are currently 4th in the MPL Season 15 standings with a 4-3 win-loss record.
