Kelra, Sanford to make national team debut in IESF MLBB

Reigning Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world championship MVP Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas and Team Liquid PH’s star EXP Laner Sanford Vinuya will join the national team for the IESF World Esports Championship 2025 campaign.
Sanford will finally play for the national team after being banned for declining the roster spot he was given.
Joining Kelra and Sanford are SEA Games 2024 gold medalists David “FlapTzy” Canon, Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, and Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, currently representing the Team Falcons PH banner.
Team Falcons’ sixth man, Vincent “Pando” Unigo, will be assistant coach and analyst, while Team Falcons PH coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez will be the national team’s head tactician.
With what they described as their “most stacked roster,” the Philippine Esports Organization, the country’s esports body, has high hopes for the team’s performance heading into IESF.
“The purpose of the combine is getting to a point where we get all the peak athletes that want to represent the Philippines. I would say that this is the most stacked roster that we have for a combine,” Peso General Manager Jab Escutin told reporters.
“So that’s why we are very excited to represent the Philippines, and you know, show what the Filipino esports athlete is made of,” he added.
As of writing, there are no details regarding the date and the host country for IESF WEC 2025. However, MLBB is one of the five announced titles for WEC, joining Dota 2, Counter-Strike, PUBG Mobile, and eFootball.
