TI Day 4: Feels, Fun and Marriage?
With only five teams remaining in the The International 5 and a day left before the Grand Finals, Key Arena is filled with laughter, feels… and more feels.
Virtus Pro getting their head in the game, Team Secret eliminated
Russian team Virtus Pro (VP) surprised Dota 2 fans with their outstanding performance resulting in the upset of Team Secret (Secret). Secret is one of the fan favorites to win the championship but they were eliminated by the underdogs 2-1.

Challenge completed! Good Game, Well Played indeed.
VP’s captain, Artsiom ‘fng‘ Barshak said that he made a deal with his girlfriend that if they win against Secret they will eventually get married.
Then VP convincingly won against Team Secret in the lower bracket.

10 v 10 ALL-STAR MATCH? BECAUSE DOTO!
5 v 5? Why not 10 vs 10? Fans had a chance to play with their favorite Dota 2 players during the all-star match. When announced that the all-star match would be a 10 vs 10, the crowd went wild. Twice the number of players, twice the chaos and twice the fun. Too bad for the others who weren’t so lucky, like this guy.

The winner of the All-Star Match wwas awarded with cheese, an actual cheese, and baby cheeses. In the end it was all for the spirit of Dota 2.
Dendi Pudge, literally
There was a wild Pudge sitting beside Secret’s captain, Clement ‘Puppey‘ Ivanov, while interviews were being made during the All-Star Match. When the mask was revealed, roars and cheers echoed throughout the Key Arena. Danil ‘Dendi‘ Ishutin from Ukrainian team Na’Vi joined Team Chuan to play with his former teammate, Puppey.
Both players won the first International back in 2011. It was a reunion between the two players and even though they were already playing in different teams, the sense of camaraderie can still be seen between the two.

The five remaining teams ready themselves as they move one step closer to the TI 5 championship. America’s pride Evil Geniuses (EG) and Chinese team CDEC will fight in the upper bracket to secure the first spot in the Grand Finals. The remaining European team, VP will have to defeat the Chinese powerhouse LGD.Gaming in order to advance where they will have to face Vici Gaming for the lower bracket semi-finals.
The winner in the lower bracket semi-finals will fight the loser of the EG vs. CDEC match for the lower bracket f inals.
