FEATURED STORIES
After their loss against CDEC, no one predicted that they will win against the former The International champion and one of China’s top teams.
A close win versus CDEC
Even though CDEC won the first match in their best of three series, Mineski got back to their feet and secure the second game. Carlo “Kuku” Palad’s Anti-Mage got enough farm that amid CDEC’s advantage, the Chinese team wasn’t able to finish the game. Anti-Mage sliced though CDEC’s top towers and went straight for the throne.
Mineski had the same fate during their first match with CDEC: mistakes after mistakes that eventually caused them the game. They had the momentum after winning the second game, but after a series of mishaps during team fights CDEC climbed back up and took game 3.
Alliance is b[A]ck?
Never did a Philippine team stomped a former TI champion until Mineski. Once again, kuku showed promise in becoming one of the best carry players in the scene. His Huskar, paired with Julius “Julz-KACL” De Leon’s Dazzle was unstoppable and Mineski won against Alliance without a sweat in game 1.
Alliance showed no fear against Mineski and opted not to ban Huskar, instead choosing Bane to counter Huskar’s aggressive plays. But Alliance didn’t get the results that they want. Mineski, even made an unconventional Tuskar mid against Shadow Fiend and that proved to be effective during the game.
Although Alliance had some good plays, Mineski still took the second game with no mercy for the Swedish team.
EHOME: ban Huskar, get wins
Alas, it wasn’t the case. Even though Huskar got banned, Mineski was relentless in securing their spot in the upper bracket. They went for Phantom Lancer first game then Ryan Jay “raging-_-potato” Qui’s signature Templar Assassin closed off the second game.
Hype! Hype!
Their performance got the attention of top players in the Dota 2 scene including Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and casters like David “LDdota” Goorman.
