Mineski.Sports5 Wins Against TNC 3-0, Gets Manila Major Berth
After more than nine hours of playing, Mineski.Sports5 gets to the Spring Major after getting a 3-0 clean sweep against erstwhile rivals TNC in the grand finals of the Manila Major SEA Main Qualifiers.
Mineski will now join the ranks of MVP.Phoenix and Fnatic as they represent the Southeast Asian region for this Dota 2 major.
With this win, Mineski is the only Filipino team to have participated in two Dota 2 Majors. The last time that they have took part in a Dota 2 Major was back in November 2015, when they have joined the Frankfurt Major and got joint 9th-13th place on the back of their Huskar+Dazzle strategy.
The Manila Major will be held this June 5-12, 2016 at the Mall of Asia (MoA) Arena in Pasay, Manila, featuring 16 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world and a prize pool of $3 million (P141.38 million). The winner of this Major will get the Reaver as well as a whopping $1.1 million (P51.83 million) in cash.
