Intel Extreme Masters Season XI Announced
Following the last iteration of the Intel and ESL collaboration, Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) was announced on May 12th to be continuing for another season.
According to the press release, IEM Season XI will have a prize pool of $1,000,000 split between 3 games and 4 events. It is currently unknown what games each event will have but confirmed to be featured are League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void.
The first leg of the season, IEM Shanghai will take place on July 28th – 31st followed by IEM Oakland on November 19th – 20th and IEM Goyang on December 17th – 18th. After which, the season finals will again take place in Katowice, Poland.
