The International 2017 Group Stage Day 3 Recap
The action continues and Day 3 saw the brackets start to take shape. Take a look at who’s bound for glory and who’s leaving Seattle early.
BIG WINNERS
LGD.Forever Young
LFY continue their hot streak on the third day of groups. Now at 13-1 they’re at the top of Group B and have clinched the number 1 seed.
Team Liquid and LGD Gaming
Over at Group A both top teams go 3-1 on Day 3. They’ve also clinched their Upper Bracket seeds as well.
Evil Geniuses and TNC Pro Team
Both teams are still tied at third seed on a 9-5 record. With EG up against Fnatic next and TNC having to face LGD, that could change after the fourth day.
Virtus.Pro and Newbee Gaming
Two teams are also tied in Group B. Although they’re definitely safe from elimination, they still have a chance to drop to the Lower Bracket.
MIDDLE OF THE PACK

Both teams are tied at 4th seed and the final games way heavy on which bracket they end up in at the Main Event.
Team Secret and iG.Vitality
Another tie, these two teams are at 7-7 and still have a chance at getting to the Upper Bracket.
Team Empire
Although Team Empire are definitely safe from elimination, they’re also definitely going to the Lower Bracket.
Digital Chaos and Execration
Both teams still have a chance to make it to the Upper Bracket.
BOTTOM RUNG
Infamous, Fnatic, Cloud9, and HellRaisers
None of the teams have clinched elimination, and any of them still have a chance at getting into the Main Event.
