FEATURED STORIES
When TaskUs PH announced that they wanted to build their own Dota 2 team, people were instantly intrigued. After the call was sent out, gamers everywhere threw their hat in to try and make the team.
Fast forward a couple months and the group of Ryoyr, Karl, Abeng, BDZ, and Sip have constantly been training to become one of the top Dota teams in the country.
To the Titans’ credit, they were directly to invited to the Dota 2 All-Star Weekend, and competed against some of the best teams the Philippines had to offer, including Happy Feet and Young Minds.
Though they weren’t victorious at the event, the Titans remain committed to their mission of not just becoming a team, but an institution in the local Dota scene. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and the team is still going through a long and arduous process towards achieving their dream of being a top team in the Philippines.
As seen in the video, the team’s coach, Mark “Cast” Pilar, really believes in the potential of the team. According to him, all they need is enough time to mesh together and trust in each other.
The Grind Continues
Part of the TaskUs Titans program is that each member should better themselves not just as players, but as individuals. To that end the team has been training non-stop, whether it be on the ranked ladder or in the gym.
On top of that they have been relentless in joining any online qualifiers they can, such as the Zotac Cup and MDL Macau.
Regardless of their early results, the team hasn’t lost any momentum. The TaskUs Titans will continue grinding and improving, and if you can be sure of one thing, it’s that they’re not going anywhere any time soon.
