Pinoy Rhythm Gamers Win Big at BEMANI Esports Championship
The Philippine delegation put up an impressive performance in the recently concluded BEMANI Esports Championship 2019 held in the Thailand Esports Arena.
Filipino players OkeiOkei, TIGAS.Tite, and USAGI*VK bagged 3rd place in Dance Dance Revolution, Gitadora Drumania, and Sound Voltex respectively.
DRS Baguio won 2nd place in Dance Rush while R2ROKID9 was crowned 1st place in JUBEAT. R2ROKID9 will be moving on to represent the Philippines in the KONAMI Arcade Championship in 2020.
The BEMANI Esports Championship is named after KONAMI’s famous game franchise that has produced an array of popular music-based games such as Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks, and Drum Mania.
