LCK Goes On Indefinite Hiatus as Coronavirus Threat Spreads In South Korea

As the number of COVID-19 cases rises in South Korea, Riot Games has announced the indefinite hiatus of the League of Legends Champion Korea Spring Split 2020 until conditions improve within the country.
As a safety precaution earlier in the season, the LCK was held without a live audience in the LoL Park arena. Now, Round 2 of the tournament series will be postponed until further announcement. The announcement comes as a precaution to ensure the safety of the league’s players and staff involved.
The LCK’s suspension is one among many suspensions across the League of Legends Pro League in China and the Pacific Championship Series. The LCK will continue its games until March 6th to finish the first round robin of the tournament.
