Liyab Stay Calm And Sweep Panic Time To Retain Their Spot in PCS

Liyab Esports stayed calm as they swept Panic Time in the PCS 2021 Spring Promotion. 

Liyab Esports came out swinging as Edrian “Doedoii” Brancia put on an MVP-caliber performance on Graves going 7/0/7 in Game 1. Throughout the game, Panic Time’s bot lane kept getting punished with yjy’s Senna dying again and again. Liyab put out a statement against Panic Time that they came to the series in full throttle.

In Game 2, Panic found themselves in another gold deficit in the early game that almost cost them to lose the game at 28-minutes. With their backs against the wall and no towers left, Panic miraculously found a fight that got them three kills and Baron Nashor. However, Kyle “Dawn” Somera’s Ashe came to the rescue for Liyab as they managed to secure the win after a massive drawn out teamfight in the mid lane.

In the last game of the series, Panic Time were just outclassed by Liyab’s Zoe, Jhin, and Graves ranged trio. Liyab were able to secure a 9k gold lead by 20-minutes and from then on, were just able to close out the game. Liyab’s solo laners in Kim “Rex” Tae-yeon and Ren “Kanji” Motomitsu outmaneuvered ar1se and Speltz throughout the series which heavily contributed to their win.

Liyab Esports taking down Panic Time means that the Philippine squad will continue to represent the country in the next season of the Pacific Championship Series. Despite a rough season, Liyab managed to keep it together and retain their spot with their players stepping up in the promotion series.
